List of equivalent courses between NSYSU and SBU which are approved for transfer credits.

The total length of study on the SUNY Korea campus is typically two semesters, if 9 credits of approved courses are transferred from NSYSU to SBU.

The students of NSYSU are strongly encouraged to have TOEFL iBT 80/IELTs 6.5 (with no subsection recommended to be below 6.0) before coming to enroll in SUNY Korea.  Otherwise, the students cannot expect to finish the MS degree in two semesters. If a student does not score TOEFL iBT 80 or higher, the student can apply to the Intensive English Program (IEP) for graduate students in SUNY Korea.  An English Placement test must be taken to place into corresponding level of IEP. If the student is placed to the Advanced level, successful completion of a semester of IEP will move the student to regular matriculation.  If the student is placed into the Intermediate level, successful completion will move the student to the Advanced level.  In this case, two semesters may be needed in order to complete the two levels of IEP, unless after the completion of the Intermediate level, the student takes TOEFL and scores iBT 80 or higher.

Upon the successful completion of 30 credits of courses with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and meeting all the degree requirements, students will be awarded a Stony Brook University degree of the Master of Science (M.S.) in Technological Systems Management (TSM).
