社會系黎梅枝 Anna 同學帶領大家探索越南旅遊景點及特色美食

台灣與越南，是地理上的鄰居、生意上的夥伴、文化上的兄弟，更是許多國人旅遊的選擇。管院英語學習角落於 5 月 24 日舉辦本學期第 6 場交流活動 「越南旅遊與美食特色文化」，邀請到社會學系黎梅枝 Anna 同學，帶領大家一同用英語探索越南特色旅遊景點及美食。

Anna 先問大家對越南有什麼印象，同學們表示越南春捲和咖啡比較著名，自己認識的越南朋友都非常友善。Anna 用輕鬆的小遊戲開場，讓同學們看文化特色猜測國家，氣氛逐漸熱鬧起來，大家對國際旅遊觀光都具備豐富認知。

Anna 接著介紹了多個值得旅遊的越南景點。在北部，有充滿歷險感的下龍灣，那裡由近2,000 個石灰岩島嶼組成，1994年被聯合國教科文組織列入世界遺產，遊客們可以在灣上泛舟遊覽壯麗的自然景觀。在中部，Anna 推薦大家前往中部重要的大城市 – 峴港，峴港是越南第四大城市，僅次於胡志明市、河內市。那裡四季如一，有「東方夏威夷」之稱，是適合渡假的好去處。在南部，富國島是她的首選旅遊地點。富國島是越南最大的島嶼，當地酒店度假配套豐富，以海天一色的美景與純淨沙灘而聞名，非常適合情侶及家庭到訪遊憩。

精彩的介紹後，Anna也讓大家腦力激盪，分組討論回答他們喜歡的旅遊地點、想去的國家等，與大家輕鬆問答，鼓勵同學們多多發言練習。她更精心準備了越南的特色美食──越式春捲，讓大家感受越式料理的清爽甜辣好滋味，同學們品嚐得津津有味，讚譽有加。

經過這堂課，同學們了解到許多越南當地人推薦的私房景點，同時掌握不少形容地域特色的英文詞彙。台灣也是國際旅遊熱點，由歷史古蹟、好山好水，到都市夜生活一應俱全。這堂課有助同學了解台灣自身與各國旅遊文化，更能與外國朋友分享台灣的特色景點，發揚台灣之美。

【Management College Presents: Vietnam Tourism and Food Culture – English Corner】

The English Corner of the College of Management organized its sixth event of the semester on May 24th -- Vietnam Tourism and Food Culture. We invited sociology student Anna to lead her classmates in exploring Vietnam's unique tourist spots and cuisine in English. She began by asking everyone what they thought about Vietnam. The students mentioned that Vietnamese spring rolls and coffee are quite famous, and noted that their Vietnamese friends are very friendly. Anna kicked off the event with a fun game, having students guess countries based on cultural features. The atmosphere quickly became lively, and everyone demonstrated a good knowledge of international travel and tourism.

Anna introduced several must-visit places in Vietnam. In the north, there's the adventurous Ha Long Bay, which is made up of nearly 2,000 limestone islands and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1994. Visitors can enjoy the stunning natural scenery by kayak. In central Vietnam, she recommended Da Nang, a major city known as the "Hawaii of the East" due to its year-round warm climate. It's the fourth-largest city in Vietnam, after Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and is a great vacation spot. In the south, her top pick was Phu Quoc Island. As Vietnam's largest island, it offers luxurious resorts, famous for its beaches with clear water and fine sand, making it perfect for couples and families.

After an engaging presentation, Anna facilitated group discussions where students brainstormed about their favorite travel destinations and countries they'd like to visit. She led a relaxed Q&A session, encouraging everyone to share their thoughts and practice their communication skills. Anna also thoughtfully prepared a special treat of Vietnamese cuisine—Vietnamese spring rolls. Everyone relished the refreshing, sweet-spicy flavors of the dish, savoring each bite and offering high praise.

Through this lesson, students learned about the local recommended tourist attractions in Vietnam and gained useful English vocabulary to describe places, such as "historical", "enchanting" and "picturesque". Since Taiwan is also a popular international travel destination with everything from historical sites and beautiful landscapes to vibrant city nightlife, this class helps students share Taiwan's unique spots with foreign friends, letting the world see Taiwan.
