這場講座將由食物設計師 袁采楓主講,分享她如何從文史背景畢業後踏入廚房,並遠赴歐洲攻讀食物設計,最終回到台灣成為活動策展人的經歷。 講師將帶領大家認識「食物作為策展媒介」的可能性,並透過跨界合作,讓味覺成為設計、文化與品牌溝通的語言。
她將以自身策展與設計的案例,說明如何將食物轉化為敘事載體,讓食物超越「味道」,成為連結情感、身分與文化的感官語言。 此外,講座中也將設計一個小型workshop,透過實作練習,引導學生找到食物設計的切入點,結合敘事、情景與感官策略,體會食物所能帶來的「有內容的體驗」。

If fashion can design style, food can design experiences. Have you ever heard of a food designer?
This lecture will be led by food designer Tsai-Feng Yuan, who will share her journey from graduating with a background in humanities to stepping into the kitchen, pursuing a degree in food design in Europe, and eventually returning to Taiwan as an event curator.
Through her experiences, she will introduce the concept of "food as a curatorial medium", exploring how taste can be transformed into a language for design, culture, and brand communication through cross-disciplinary collaborations. Drawing from real-world curatorial and design projects, she will demonstrate how food can go beyond flavor to become a sensory tool for storytelling, connecting emotions, identity, and culture.
In addition, the lecture will feature a hands-on mini workshop designed to help participants discover entry points into food design. Through practical exercises, students will learn how to integrate storytelling, context, and sensory strategies, gaining insights into how food can create meaningful, content-rich experiences.
