工作內容
- Manages the plant environmental, health and safety functions as directed.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment, this includes correcting unsafe acts/conditions, facilitating monthly(weekly) safety meetings, performing safety inspections, and investigating accidents, as required.
- Supports development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the safety practice.
- Provides the direction and management of the plant environmental function, transplant the best practice to other group factories.
- Understands and remains current on environmental requirements to ensure compliance.
- Provides the direction and management of plant safety programs in order to maintain safe and healthful working conditions. Develops and monitors plant safety rules and regulations in accordance with plant, customer, corporate guidelines, and in compliance with governmental regulations and laws in occupational safety and health.
- Maintains plant safety records and files.
- Serves as point of contact for agency and company environmental, health and safety inquiries, inspections, and audits. Conducts random safety audits and periodic safety inspections. Prepares responses to inspections/audits and manages correction of any noted deficiencies.
- Initiates, reviews, masters, and follows all EHS standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility.
