Many congratulations to Professor Ting-Ping Liang, winner of the 2014 LEO Award!

Many congratulations to Professor Ting-Ping Liang, winner of the 2014 LEO Award!

The LEO and Fellow Awards are two of most prestigious awards conferred by AIS. Established in 1999, this award recognized truly outstanding individuals in the field of information systems. All recipients of the LEO Award are outstanding scholars or practitioners who have made a global impact on the field.

Being the first Chinese Scholar to receive the AIS Fellow Award back in 2003, we are thrilled to learn that Professor Liang has been chosen as one of the three winners of this year’s LEO Award.

The award was distributed at the annual International Conference of Information Systems (ICIS) in Auckland, New Zealand in front of nearly 1,100 attendees. Speaking at the conference, Professor Liang expressed his sincere thankyou to all the AIS members and fellow scholars who have encouraged him along the road of research. He also thanked his students for their contributions towards his achievement.

A celebration reception was organised by the University to congratulate faculty who have won external outstanding awards.
