QS World University Ranking: 12 universities are in Asia top 100

QS World University Ranking has released the news of 2015 top universities in Asia.

National University of Singapore (NUS) is again at the first place.

For Taiwan, there are 12 universities ranked among Asia top 100.

 

Overviewing the 300 top universities in Asia, there are 28 from Taiwan.

National Taiwan University (NTU) is at 22nd place, which is 1 place lower than last year.

Other universities like National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) and National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) are both at 31st place, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) at 36th, National Taiwan University of Science And Technology (NTUST) at 45th, and Taipei Medical University (TMU) at 47th.

National Yang Ming University is at 50th, National Central University at 60th, National Taiwan Normal University at 64th, National Sun Yat-sen University at 69th, Chang Gung University at 78th,and National Chung Hsing University at 95th.

 

This year, there are 25 universities from China are also in Asia top 100. 16 of them are in a higher ranking than last year.

The best ranking one in China is Peking University, which is now at 7th place. Tsinghua University in Peking, 3 places higher than last year, is currently at 11th place.

According to the survey, the top 10 universities in Asia in 2015 are as follows. University of Singapore (NUS), The University of Hong Kong, Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU), The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Peking University, Seoul National University, City University of Hong Kong, Phoang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH).
