As part of an ambitious expansion program, we are seeking to appoint up to eight excellent academics with an international research profile. While we will consider applications from all business-related disciplines, we particularly welcome applicants with teaching experience in accounting, information systems or operations management. You will join the dynamic College of Management, which is currently pursuing a wide-ranging internationalization strategy. You will be teaching within the undergraduate International Business Program as well as within the International Business MBA (IBMBA) and the Global Human Resource Management MBA (GHRM MBA) programs.
You will have:
- A proven track record of research and teaching in accounting, information systems, operations management or other management-related fields
- Evidence of peer-reviewed publications in SSCI-indexed journals
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work under conditions of autonomy as well as a commitment to teamwork
We expect applicants at the Assistant Professor level to have—or be close to completing—a PhD degree. They should also provide evidence of high-quality research and teaching. Applicants at the Associate Professor level should have published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and should have substantial experience of teaching within higher education institutions.
Appointees are expected to apply for research grants from the Ministry of Science and Technology (Taiwan), which include salary supplements of US$6,325 per year in addition to earmarked research support. The University and the College may jointly award an annual salary supplement of up to US$25,300 for a maximum of three years upon appointment (tenure-track professors only). All compensation packages include comprehensive health insurance and superannuation plans.

About National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) and the College of Management
