Researching various career options and the requisite education and skills can be overwhelming. As such, a career counselor offers invaluable expertise in these areas.

A resume is the first impression made during a job application, and a resume can be the deciding factor for landing a job. As such, your resume must be perfect when a resume reviewer examines a resume with the same critical attention as a potential employer might. This helps you to polish your resume and make it look professional.

How To Book A Consultation?

For booking a one-on-one consultation, local students can click ‘here.' International students can bring their resume soft copy to room 4051 to make the reservation. Additionally, you can also email ocd@cm.nsysu.edu.tw for more information.

What To Expect During The Consultation?

One-on-one consultations are held through Zoom. Three days, 1 days before the meeting, a reminder email containing the meeting details will be sent to your email address. Before the consultation, the counselor would already have checked your resume and credentials for a quicker and more precise consultation session.

During the consultation, the counselor will inquire about your interests, narrow down your strengths and weaknesses, and offer advice on which industry will be the perfect fit for you. The counselor may recommend certain websites for finding employment opportunities as well. Additionally, the counselor would evaluate your resume and recommend certain changes to make your resume look more professional and attractive to your potential employer.
