4+1 Degree Program Overview

To provide students with enriched international learning and cross-cultural experiences, the College of Management at NSYSU has established a 4+1 dual degree program with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, specifically with the Gies College of Business.

Students recommended by the College will be granted priority consideration in the admission review process at UIUC. 

Undergraduate students who have fulfilled the graduation credit requirements of the College of Management may proceed to pursue a master's degree at UIUC. 

Applicants may choose to apply for one of the following master's programs: 

• Master of Business Analytics 
• Master of Technology Management
• Master of Management

Eligibility

Undergraduate Students:  Applicants must be currently enrolled students of the College of Management at NSYSU and must have completed all required credits for graduation at the time of application.

Please refer to the attached documents for detailed admission requirements and criteria set by UIUC.

Nomination Quota

The maximum number of nominations per academic year is as follows: 

• Master of Business Analytics : 10 students
• Master of Technology Management : 10 students
• Master of Management : 10 students

Application Timeline and Required Documents

Applicants must complete the "Undergraduate Dual Degre Application Form" (Including all required supporting documents) and submit a hard copy to Room 4051, 4th Floor, College of Management by 5 pm on the second Friday of August each year.

At the same time, a PDF version of the complete application package must be sent to: intlcm@cm.nsysu.edu.tw

The electronic file must be named as follows: 

Full Name (as in passport) _ UIUC Application Documents

Subsequent Application Process

After passing the internal review by the College of Management, applicants are required to complete the online application and pay the application fee through the UIUC application system within the designated deadline: https://choose.illinois.edu/apply/

The College will separately submit the official nomination list to UIUC to complete the recommendation process.
