POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

The College of Management of National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) has formed a search committee to seek applications and nominations for the position of Dean. The Dean’s term of office will start from the date of assumption of office, and end on July 31^st, 2015.

Candidate Qualification:

Must be a Full Professor, or a scholar/expert who meets the qualifications of a Full Professor,
Must have distinguished academic reputation in a management-related field, or have experiences of competent management in industries,
Must not be over age 62 when the appointment begins.

Nominations and Applications:

Applications are accepted directly from qualified candidates；at least 2 letters of recommendation should be included, or
Nominations are made jointly by at least 3 full-time NSYSU College of Management faculty members; a letter of consent from the nominee should also be included.

Important Dates for the Applications

Sept. 17: Preliminary meeting with committee members for friendly exchange of ideas, opinions, concerns, and expectations.

Sept. 26~27: Presentation of proposal plan in front of all faculty members of College of Management.

Oct. 6: Formal individual interview with committee members.

Candidates should prepare a complete application package which includes personal data, a comprehensive curriculum vitae(free format), a statement addressing the intent and vision for the College(free format), at least 2 letters of recommendation, and a letter of consent from the nominated candidate. The application package should be sent to the address given below, either by registered postmail or by email. All materials should be received no later than September 10^th, 2012.
