On May 2nd and May 3rd , NSYSU students hosted the PILOT Global Conference in the Marine in College of Marine Sciences in NSYSU. The purpose of the Global Leadership Conference is to equip participants with the vision and practical skills they need to be effective leaders in the globalizing economy. Dr.Yuan, the Chief of Staff at Master Kong Co. Ltd appeared as a guest speaker on Friday and Shirley Wong from Champions Education Association, where she currently serves as Secretary General. . The aim of the conference is to develop the soft skills of students that are largely ignored in conventional education. Participants hailed from different universities and even from universities outside Kaohsiung, from all over Taiwan. The Participants was able to get first-hand account from the Guest speakers as well as benefit from innovative workshops designed to train participants into becoming future proactive leaders. Certificates of participation were handed out at the end of the event and the entire event was a relative success with hundreds of people participating over the course of two days.
