BINUS UNIVERSITY is proud to present a guest lecture titled “Starting a Business in Indonesia: Tips for Foreign Investors, Large & Small”. Today, Indonesia is the world’s 10th largest economy and largest in Southeast Asia (World Bank, 2021). Aside from the bustling economy, with a large population, diverse market, affordable labour, and abundant natural resources, Indonesia offers considerable new opportunities for investors.

 

The guest speaker for this lecture is Mr. Nathan Scott Kamstra. Nathan, originally from the United States, is a versatile entrepreneur in the field of HR, insurance, IT finance and others. He runs a fintech backed by a major bank as well as an HR tech company in Indonesia. Nathan is now a Partner and CIO at Urbanhire, a company that helps organizations in Indonesia and Asia find and hire talented individuals.
