[College of Management Honored] The Only EMBA Program in Taiwan Ranked Among FT Global Top 100 for 2024

On the international stage, the achievements of EMBA alumni are a key benchmark for assessing the quality of an EMBA program. The outstanding performance and remarkable accomplishments of National Sun Yat-sen University’s (NSYSU) College of Management EMBA alumni have once again earned international recognition.

The Financial Times (FT) 2024 Global Top 100 Executive MBA Ranking has been announced, and NSYSU’s EMBA program has secured the 87th position globally. This prestigious accolade makes NSYSU the only university in Taiwan to remain in the Top 100, reaffirming the program's excellence and global standing.

International Recognition and Excellence in Business Education

The College of Management at NSYSU has consistently earned accolades and certifications from internationally renowned organizations. It has been listed in the Eduniversal Best 1000 Business Schools Ranking for several years, achieving the distinguished 4 Palmes of Excellence since 2019, ranking third in Taiwan. Furthermore, in 2020, the college earned its fourth AACSB accreditation, underscoring its commitment to internationalization and excellence in teaching and research.

Dean Prof. Shu-Chuan Yeh expressed pride in the college’s repeated recognition in the international business education arena. She stated, "The inclusion of NSYSU EMBA in the FT Global Top 100 highlights the program’s exceptional strength and competitiveness among global business schools. We will continue to strive for excellence."

A Legacy of Excellence and Innovation

Founded in 1998, NSYSU EMBA was the first program of its kind in southern Taiwan. Over the years, it has cultivated a vibrant learning environment, bringing together elite professionals from various industries. The program emphasizes courses integrating global best practices, offers international exchange opportunities, and facilitates industry-academic collaborations through overseas workshops and on-site learning. These initiatives empower students with cutting-edge management strategies and insights into emerging industry trends.

Recognizing the growing integration of human resources and markets across Greater China, Southeast Asia, and the Asia-Pacific, NSYSU launched the Asia-Pacific EMBA (APEMBA) in 2005. In 2011, the university partnered with Shanghai Tongji University to establish the Cross-Strait EMBA (CSEMBA) to address the integration of Taiwan and China's high-tech networks.

NSYSU EMBA: Salary Growth Among Asia’s Top 4

The Financial Times Executive MBA (EMBA) ranking evaluates alumni three years post-graduation, assessing key criteria such as Career Progress, School Diversity, and Research, ESG, and Carbon Footprint. Specific metrics include Salary Increase, Career Progress Rank, and Work Experience Rank.

According to the latest ranking, graduates of NSYSU EMBA Class 22 (2021) achieved an impressive 67% salary growth within three years of graduation, with an average annual salary of USD 212,017 (approximately TWD 6,799,576). This underscores the program's exceptional faculty and curriculum, which have had a significant and positive impact on the career trajectories of its graduates.

NSYSU EMBA upholds the spirit of "One NSYSU Family," fostering a strong alumni network. In the Alumni Network Rank, NSYSU EMBA is ranked 11th among Asian institutions, based on alumni feedback regarding its effectiveness in offering career opportunities, entrepreneurial support, talent recruitment, and event information such as career lectures. This reflects the program's commitment to the principles of passion, sharing, and sustainability, evident in its graduates’ professional relationships and collaborations.

In terms of overall satisfaction, NSYSU EMBA consistently receives high praise from its graduates. Among Asian institutions, it ranks 4th for Overall Satisfaction and 12th globally, further cementing its reputation for excellence.

NSYSU EMBA is going to accept applications for the 2024 academic year. The program offers two tracks:

  • Track A: General Management
  • Track B: Asia-Pacific Operations Management
