On Saturday, May 10, 2025, the College of Management at National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) partnered with Deloitte Taiwan to host the “Management Consulting Talent Development Workshop.” Combining global market insights with hands-on career training, the event drew highly motivated students willing to spend their weekend advancing their career goals.

The workshop opened with remarks by Professor Shih-Sian Jhang, Director of the Office of Career Development, who encouraged students to actively embrace industry-academia collaboration. The event was coordinated with the support of Ms. Cindy Lin, Deputy Director of the International Relations and Accreditation Office.

In a gesture of inclusivity, the event was livestreamed to guests from the “Flying Geese Women Entrepreneurship Program” and the “AWE Women Entrepreneurship Academy Program,” reflecting the college’s commitment to diversity and industry engagement. The event was generously supported by the NSYSU Management Education Foundation.

The morning session, titled “The Impact of ASEAN Economies on Taiwan: A Focus on India,” featured Mr. Harry Huang, Executive Vice President at Deloitte Taiwan, who discussed how geopolitical dynamics and global supply chain restructuring are reshaping investment strategies for Taiwanese enterprises.

The afternoon session was led by Deloitte HR professionals Michelle Ng and Shui Chou, who guided students through CV writing, interview preparation, and job market expectations in the consulting industry.

Limited to just 20 students selected by application, the workshop targeted NSYSU undergraduate and graduate students interested in consulting. The College of Management remains committed to partnering with leading organizations to develop globally-minded future leaders with practical skills.
