Exhibition – Malaysia and Thailand Quiz Winners Announced!

Students at National Sun Yat-sen University embarked on a cultural journey during the last week of October, with a special exhibition dedicated to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) hosted by the College of Management.

The exhibition provided an immersive look into the vibrant cultures and dynamic economies of this significant global region. ASEAN, an inter-governmental organization established in 1967, unites eleven member states (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and a recent addition, Timor-Leste) to promote regional cooperation. As ASEAN economies continue rapid growth, the region has become the world's fifth-largest economy, attracting major multinational companies to expand their presence.

In the recent exhibition, the spotlight was cast on member countries Malaysia and Thailand, with eye-catching posters and vibrant displays at the entrances of the College of Management.

Through a trivia quiz, students were challenged on their knowledge of each country's economics, culture, and fun facts. The ASEAN exhibition was a resounding success, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the rich culture of Southeast Asia.

Students with strong knowledge of ASEAN cultures, languages, and business environments will enjoy significant advantages in both global and regional career opportunities. Understanding ASEAN is a valuable step toward building global competence.

Thank you to all who participated in the quiz — and congratulations to our lucky winners!
