Requirements

1. Mainly for students enrolled at GHRM, NSYSU and finished the first year master.

2. IELTS 6.5 (5.5 minimum for each band)

 

Degree conferred

1. MSc International Business, Nottingham Trent University, UK

2. Global Human Resource Management English MBA, National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan

 

Course structure

Semester 1 at NSYSU, Sep. – Jan.:

  • Organisational Behaviour (compulsory)
  • Organisational Theory & Management (compulsory)
  • Human Resource Management (compulsory)
  • Research Methodology I (compulsory)
  • and two more other elective courses; this can include any 3-credit MBA courses in College of Management; Students are encouraged to take Business Seminar (elective) to help with the internship seeking.

2-hour online academic research ethics course (compulsory)

Semester 2 at NTU, Jan. – Jun.:

Routes to be chosen among the following:

International Business Route

  • Advanced Business English
  • International HRM
  • Global Supply Chain Management
  • International Experience (fee-paying)
  • Work Placement (May to September, either in the UK or any other countries)

Innovation Route

  • Advanced Business English
  • Uncap Creativity and Innovation
  • Value Chains: Resource and Partnerships
  • International Experience (fee-paying)
  • Work Placement (May to September, either in the UK or any other countries)

*The exact course list will be announced by NTU.

*Alternative Module may be available for Native English Speaker for Advanced Business English, please consult NBS office in NTU.

Summer & Semester 3, Jun. – Jan.:

Work placement of NTU in UK or Taiwan or any other country (by application)

Elective courses and Thesis Writing for NSYSU.

*Thesis submission deadline for NTU: late December

Semester 4 at NSYSU, Feb. – Jul.:

  • Research Methodology II (compulsory)
  • Consulting Methods and Practice (compulsory)(students who join Work Placement at NTU can possibly waive the course)

Thesis writing and oral defense

 

Fees

NSYSU tuition and credit fees. Students also are obligated to cover their travel expenses, food, accommodation, insurance and other living costs.

 

Application Period

First round- Middle of May to end of June (mainly for students finishing the first year)

Second round- End of July to middle of September (mainly for new students and for supplementary documents from the first round students)
