DBA in Business Administration

Special Features of the Program

Businesses are currently facing great changes in technology and business environments. In response to the needs of top management in the industry to pursue new management knowledge, the Department has a doctoral program (DBA) in business administration. The DBA program integrates students' rich practical background with theory and refinement to cultivate the advanced talents required by senior corporate consultants, industrial policy think-tank experts, and senior corporate professors in academia. Teaching focuses on practical cases in the industry. Through teaching, DBA students can understand how theory and practice are combined, and at the same time, professors can enhance their teaching and achieve a state of complementarity thanks to the integration of practice.

Graduation Requirements

Total Program Credits: 45 Credits

The DBA is a 45-credit program. The curriculum is divided into required courses, five specialized courses and elective courses. There are four required courses, totaling 12 credits: Quantitative Research, Advanced Management Theory, Qualitative Research Methods, and Advanced Business Research Methods. The elective courses, totaling 15 credits, are Management and Philosophy, International Business Theory, Discourse on Business Practice, and Industrial Research (I) and (II).
