VIE Junior Risk Global Markets Analyst – Taipei.
Job Role
Within the Risk Management function and Risk Global Markets in particular, you will be responsible for providing Business and Management with a dynamic analysis of market, liquidity but also counterparty and credit risks.
Your main responsibilities will be to :
• Contribute to the control of trading limits for traders based in Taiwan ;
• Participate in the daily tasks of the FXLM Asia risk team ;
• Coordinate risk management for Taiwan with regional centers on Fixed Income products ;
• Analyze market events and their implications on trading portfolios and report them to Management ;
• Analyze positions and identify, quantify and control risks carried by trading portfolios, mainly related to FX products and interest rate derivatives (linear and optional) ;
• Contribute to the control of market parameters and the fair revaluation of trading portfolios; analyze the fair value reserves ;
• Carry out and implement specific projects related to limit controls, stress testing, reporting and position analysis.
Location
BNP Paribas Taipei is located in 101 Tower in the Xin Yi business district.
You will evolve within the trading room where you will be the only representative of RISK.
Qualifications and Capabilities Expected VIE Junior Risk Global Markets Analyst
· You have a Master degree with a specialization in financial mathematics and/or risk management.
· You have gained first experience (internships and work-study program included) in this field and in particular within an investment bank.
· Your level of English is fluent.
· You have a solid knowledge in risk analysis, risk anticipation, risk monitoring, interest rates and Forex.
· You have a very good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), risk management tools, Bloomberg, Reuters and the VBA programming language.
